Grower Numbers and Info
Currently packing stock from up to 50 different growers within the region, and small amounts which are grown in the Riverland.
Tony Simonetta works closely with all growers to ensure that fruit is grown to the specifications and quality that we require, and if required, is registered for supply within certain regions.
Spray Programs are offered to all growers and regular updates of Crops.
We are HACCP certified, as well as having SQF & Foodcare.
Hand Packed
We truly believe that Hand Packing fruit is better than using machines, and that having each piece of fruit touched at least once by hand – before being placed in a box is the best approach.
We do use a blemish sorter on each line – but the final check is done by a person.
Lines and Capabilities
We have 6 different lines packing different products at different times – once stock is packed, and at our first available opportunity – growers are advised of their packouts, and the stock is sold.
If there is a particular issue, we contact growers directly & work through what ever issue has been discovered.
